My Vintage Watermelon Journey...

This Blog is about my great affection for Tampa and the entire state of Florida. I've lived here all my life and when I travel, I am always glad to return to the familiarity of the Tampabay area. The thirsty pages of this blog will soak in all my juicy passion for art, photography and writing.

The original inspiration for this blog are those precious little vintage trailers from the 1950's that I stumbled upon while Googling (scroll to the bottom of page to see slideshow). I instantly fell in love with them and I just know there is one in my future.

My blog is full of nostalgic images of old Tampa. The Tampa I grew up in. I've also included good information for wanna be internet entrepreneurs (that's me). I am learning as I go and will share what I learn here. Enjoy and Soar!

OST U.S. 90 Old Spanish Trail from Florida to California

Drive the Old Spanish Trail, America’s most fascinating historic highway. From Jacksonville, Florida, take US 90 to San Antonio, Texas; then US 290 (or US 90) to Van Horn, Texas; then US 80 to Boulevard, California; then US 80 or CA 94 to sunny San Diego; then jump into the Pacific and have a swell swim.
